Workflows
Build and manage powerful chatbots with FlowBot's Workflow Builder.
What is a Workflow?
A workflow represents a step-by-step automation process, where each node performs a specific action (e.g., sending a message, integrating with a tool, or applying logic). By linking nodes, you can automate complex interactions seamlessly.
Creating a Workflow
Follow these steps to build your first workflow:
- Access the Workflows Tab: Navigate to the "Workflows" tab in the sidebar menu.
- Initiate a New Workflow: Click the "Create Workflow" button to start your project.

- Name Your Workflow: Provide a clear name and optional description to organize your automation.
- Build with Nodes: Drag and drop nodes from the node library onto the canvas, selecting from message, logic, or integration options.
- Configure Nodes: Click each node to set its parameters, such as content, conditions, or third-party connections.
- Save and Test: Save your workflow and start your test.

Key Features of Workflow Builder
- Visual Design: Drag-and-drop interface for easy node placement and connection.
- Conditional Logic: Add if-else or switch nodes to create dynamic, context-aware flows.
- Integration Support: Connect with tools like Google Calendar or CRM systems for enhanced automation.
- Real-Time Preview: Test workflows instantly to ensure they perform as expected.
Best Practices
- Start Simple: Begin with a single process (e.g., greeting customers) before scaling to complex flows.
- Test Regularly: Validate each step to avoid errors in live interactions.
